GET
Returns every alias the calling API key is authorized to use. The response follows the OpenAI List models shape, with two additional fields — kind and capabilities — that say what each alias actually is and what it can do.

Query Parameters

Both filters are optional. With neither, the full set is returned. An unrecognised value for either returns 400, listing the accepted values — it does not return an empty list.

Response Fields

Kinds

Agents are not listed here. They are addressed through POST /v1/responses using prompt.id, or via the x-model-name header on the /v1/responses sub-resources. Passing ?kind=agent returns 400 with that guidance rather than an empty list.
Not every listed alias works with every endpoint. A guardrail alias supports moderation only, and an embedding model supports embedding only — sending either to /v1/chat/completions fails. Filter on capabilities before offering a list to users, or use ?capability=chat.
