Prerequisites

Before installing Bud Runtime, ensure you have:
  • Kubernetes cluster (v1.24+)
  • Helm 3.x installed
  • kubectl configured with cluster access
  • GPU nodes available for model inference

Installation Steps

1. Add the Bud Helm Repository

helm repo add bud https://charts.bud.studio
helm repo update

2. Create a Values File

Create a values.yaml file with your configuration: 
# Example configuration
budui:
  replicaCount: 1
  image:
    repository: budstudio/bud-dashboard
    tag: latest

budserve:
  replicaCount: 2
  resources:
    limits:
      nvidia.com/gpu: 1

3. Install Bud Runtime

helm install bud-runtime bud/bud-stack \
  --namespace bud-system \
  --create-namespace \
  -f values.yaml

​
4. Verify Installation

Check that all pods are running: 
kubectl get pods -n bud-system
